WiFi speed has suddenly slow down, below promised minimum speed

My wifi used to go up to 30Mbps at most, mostly between 20-30. Recently it’s become much slower, at "5Mbps" minimum according to my broadband deal - but my broadband deal hasn’t changed since January and I’m unable to change it till next summer due to the broadband contract.
So firstly, I’m confused as to why my minimum Wi-Fi speed has suddenly changed. I started off paying for this Wi-Fi with promised minimum speeds of 20Mbps now it’s suddenly 5Mbps?
Secondly, my wifi doesn’t even hit 5Mbps at a minimum. I’ve done Wi-Fi speed tests and I’ve consistently been getting abysmal speeds of 2.5Mbps. Some tests even only go up to 1.2Mbps.
My Wi-Fi was fine up until maybe a week and a half ago. It’s only recently become much slower, and i’m extremely confused as to why it has become 10 times slower in such a short period, and how the minimum Wi-Fi speed I was paying for initially has suddenly changed… Is it something to do with the area I live in? Is it possible for my Wi-Fi contract to be terminated early considering the speed I’m getting is not what is being promised?

Wi-Fi is still 10x slower than it used to be. Finally it’s going up to speeds of 4Mbps but I find it ridiculous how I’m not getting the speeds that I was paying for initially even though my Wi-Fi was perfectly fine less than two weeks ago.
400Kbps is not what I want from an unlimited fibre deal at all! Unless there’s some sort of infrastructure damage in my area it;s crazy that my speeds have become so slow recently.
