adsl Boradband speeds still very low

hello, had BT Openreach come out twice  to  investigate why our BB download speeds are down to just 600kbs on average although we should be getting average 1.2Megabytes to 1.8 megabytes.

Line is fine, no issues they can find, they even looked in the green cab in the street and again nothing to indicate line issues now.

They did make a remark though about doing something called a DLM reset on plusnets end. f I recall this fixed an issue we had with speed a few years ago.
Any chance you could action this for us?

We're on ADSL Broadband over a phone line, BT have replaced the one socket with an internet and separate phone socket.

many thanks.

@spadger023 that's a bit disengenuous on the part of the OR engineer! The DLM is part of Openreach's equipment, yes an ISP can request a DLM reset on a line but so can an OR engineer🙄 He/she just probably couldn't be bothered to contact OR engineering (DCoE) to request the reset, easier to pass it to the ISP
