hub 2

How can I connect a device to the 2 GH instead of the 5 GH as only one connection shows when I search for the wifi, it's Plusnet hub 2

Re: hub 2

@Cerijayne57 the Hub 2 uses the same network name (SSID) for both the 2.4ghz & 5ghz bands and its not possible to separate them.

Devices ought to connect to whichever is the best. If a device only supports 2.4ghz then it should connect to that. Some devices don't do that however. A trick is to temporarily disable the 5ghz band on the Hub 2, connect the device and then re-enable the 5ghz.

If you've go no devices that use 5ghz then just disable it permanently.
