@stewarta13wsb1 Unfortunately that is not a speed throughput test, just the modem/router connection speeds so of no use. The one you used in the opening post should show the actual throughput speeds.

the reasoning behind getting the Technical Log was for the noise margin, signal and line attenuation figures, these prove the OP is near to the green cabinet.
Agree speedtest will provide the answer regarding speeds. I prefer using the CLI version of Ookla speed test.

@Dan_the_Van It was obvious from the earlier Hub Status page that the line is pretty short and not causing any reduced speeds. Still not had any update on the throughput.

Yes I realise that but it forms part of a fact gathering process, one fact which I didn't mention on my last post was it provides Data sent and received which is only 2.1GB in 36 days so hardly a busy network, unless there has been PPPoE resync since the Status page was shared. Network uptime on the status page details the active PPPoE connection period.
For a complete picture you need either to look through the event logs or view BOTH the status and technical log pages to view DSL, PPPoE and Hub uptimes
More recent speed tests would be advised.

Like you, saw that and thought , not busy, but strange that the upload and download are the same ? You would expect download to be much larger than upload...

Yes agree, but I did suggest a speed test would be the next step, I might be tempted to factory reset the Hub to see if that improves things. For whatever reason the hub maybe confused.
I'm out for the day so I'll be stepping back

"I didn't mention on my last post was it provides Data sent and received which is only 2.1GB in 36 days so hardly a busy network,"
Sorry for delayed response, I work weekends!
That is not a correct usage amount. I work from home at least one day a week, and my social media posts for work include lots of wildlife videos from our Nature Reserve to our Facebook & YouTube channels. They usually run for an average of 3 minutes and I will have uploaded several from home over the last few weeks - they work out anywhere between 600MB up to 2Gb each.
I did think we might have had a power cut while I was at work the other day... would that reset everything (router included)?
I've attached a new Ookla Speed test -
Interestingly, the 1st test I ran was half those figures for both up & down traffic 😦 I got the family to stop browsing on one Kindle and switch off Sky TV (we have a dish but clearly sneaky Sky are using my internet for free) and speeds doubled - I had no idea so little traffic would have such a huge effect!?!
By the way, many thanks to everyone who has helped, and I'm sorry I don't always know or understand the questions.

@stewarta13wsb1 Something is not reading correct here - both your system and connection up times show 35 days on the picture in post #7, so we can be fairly certain that is your uptime. The one in post #15 shows a further day in uptime, but no increase in usage.

I have tagged the mods in your Community site post - only they can sort this, when they get round to it.

I wonder if I'll get to choose which one I keep?
The older borlandstewart one if they read this, and stewarta13wsb and stewarta13wsb1 can both go?
Thanks.

John, agree with the up time, but I do not see in the picture on post #7 usage data.
The last speed test does show an improvement but there is still some latency, on a wireless laptop I get an average 10ms download.
Looking at the Technical Log again has the Data sent / received (usage data) incremented at all? If not I would suggest a controlled reboot* (not switching off at the plug) of the Hub to see if this helps
*Controlled reboot = http://192.168.1.254/restart.htm on a device connected to your Hub

OK, so here's everything attached, after the reboot.
Both the Ookla (and an additional BT one) look good.
Hopefully all's now back to normal?
