i am currently experiencing high latency and occasional dropouts, my son is a heavy gamer and never usually experiences ping/high latency problems . he is connected via ethernet and is usually dead 0 ping on most games. of recent he has been experiencing 60-70 pint via ethernet and high latency beyond unplayable when not connected by ethernet . we are currently receiving 60-70 download ands 10-15 upload which isnt the problem. when running a bufferbloat tester we are receiving a grade of D and 250+ ms when an upload is active and 50+ when unloaded . if there is anything we can do to reduce ping please let us know

The Plusnet router does suffer "bufferbloat", which will definitely cause your issues.
Wifi is never a good way to connect anything that need high bandwidth or low latency.
The solution is a better router that supports better "fair queuing", plus will need to be configured correctly.
What is the router's "Downstream sync speed", as on the Status page? Are you on "FTTH" or "FTTC"?

@darrent3 Assuming you have the Hub2:
Navigate from the Home Screen to Advanced Settings > Technical Log > Information

That is what I meant by the 'Hub2' - it is the router PN supply to customers.

No - you access your router by typing "192.168.1.254" - without the quote marks - into your laptop/desktop/tablets address bar and following the instructions.

Is your Hub connected to your phone master socket or an ONT (picture below)?
