Re: webspace

I’m not sure that you can?  Whilst it may well be technically possible I think you will have an uphill struggle with it being a legacy product.

Save yourself a lot of hassle and have a look here: https://byet.host/free-hosting  - 1000Mb free

It has 4 times the Plusnet offering i.e. 1 Gb for free. I’ve used it for years and never paid a penny. There are lots of other free webspace offerings as well.

Re: webspace

Hi,

Probably worth your while to have a look here. Again, I’ve used them a few times in the past. Cheap, fast and email services – re-direction etc.

Hiya @kchilds , welcome to the forums.

I could be wrong but afaik webspace can be reactivated if you've somehow exceeded your daily usage allowance, or put too many Mb in the homepages webspace.

Was this something that happened recently, or a long time ago.

Hopefully you won't have to transfer your domain and leave PN.

Alternatively there are firms like Mythic Beasts https://www.mythic-beasts.com/hosting who will host and provide e-mail for £2.50 a month - and you get https for your domain/s - https://www.mythic-beasts.com/domains (renewal prices v good also).

I've been with them for 16 months now (moved most reluctantly, but needed the https for the happychild site) and they've been trouble-free.  Still have my broadband with PN however Smiley

Support staff have been a bit thin on the ground recently but I'll put a 'webspace' tag on your opening post and hopefully one of the Help Team will see it and reply.
