Hi guys - just to let you know a bulk archiving activity was completed on the Plunset Community over the weekend.
Doesn't look like this has ever been done in the Plusnet Community and there were topics dating back to 2001, so you may have spotted a significant drop in topics.
It should be standard practise to complete housekeeping/archiving activities on a Community of this size every 6-12 months in order to:
- Ensure topics are up to date, relevant and as helpful/correct as possible
- Keep Community clean, tidy and organised
- Help general Community performance
Khoros has a bulk archive tool where we can customise the filters, and for this activity we applied to following rules:
- Posts in the 'Help with my Plusnet services' and 'Other forums' categories
- Posts that are more than 3 years old
- Post that received less that 10 views in the last 6 months
As you can see we've been quite conservative with the rules and only removed posts that were old with very, very little demand.
