Re: Eh up, we're on telly!

lol yes, we actually had to hire a model to do these, the Yorkshire beefcake was originally going to be me but I refused to shave off my beard, that is of course the only reason the job went to someone else Wink

telly ads?  won't be seeing those unless they get posted on youtube.

Not only are they posted on our YouTube channel but they are also featuring in the ads you get at the start of random videos (abelt a shortened version of the Quarry ad)

Yes we understand them up here in Bonnie Scotland - although I haven't seen them on TV.
Spooky - as I type it's on SSHD1.
Personally I think they're utterly naff.

Just seen an ad on ITV1 HD.  It's the after-match commentary for the England match.

Re: Eh up, we're on telly!

I think the reactions we're starting to see to the ads are what I like to call 'the Marmite effect' some love them, some hate them. Personally I think the Yorkshire theme is great if a little "ee by gum" in its execution.
If it was up to me the ads would celebrate what's great about Yorkshire and Sheffield in particular: Helen Sharman, Britain's first astronaut, acting legends like Patrick Stewart and Ben Kingsley, music legends like Def Lepard, Joe Cocker, The Arctic Monkeys and lets not forget Hendersons relish
Anyway enough Stepher Fry-esque wittering from me (baaaaa), what does everyone else think we should be using as a selling point for our services?

I think the Ads are good, Is there specific times you have got for when they should be aired?

I think more should be said about customer service. The trouble is cheap often means poor service and poor quality. Drop the Yorshire bit and adopt a British company with British based service and quality.

Re: Eh up, we're on telly!

if your unable to prevent the first request
perhaps you could busy yourself with a second less difficult request
by adding more bandwidth to the 10gig I receive  monthly on 'your value account(without changing me over to the bt
21st century rubbishy 'yes i can use the word too'  technology)
which works out at a rate of about 1GB hour /Iplayer  viewing
a rate in use gives a customer 10hours a month internet use
It may be ok for BT or Plusnet as they are able to sell and sell on savings made on reducing bandwidth
to some customers by adding more customers onto the same system making even more from less
as things stand , it is a service not fit for purpose ,
it appears its forum is just the same.
it makes talktalks essentials deal which gives one 40 gigabyte download monthly usage worth over £24 a month using plusnet bytes prices
and BE pro 24meg and unlimited internet deal of £21.97  /month
and makes zambia's first ever wireless broadband always on  (unlimited)deal look cool albeit at 512k travel speed
i can sell somebody daily cheese  for 15p a day if i were greedy and cut a days quarter and then started selling that, charging over and over the days in a month

If your unable to fulfill  either or both,ok , at least tt wont be necessary for me and some others  to continue to listen to your rubbishy spiel into the future

Unfortunately bandwidth isn't cheap and therefore at the moment the product economics mean it isn't feasible to add additional usage onto the products without incurring extra costs.
