Thanks. Plusnet need to change the rDNS entry for 84.93.249.164 to reflect that it is now a gateway. Perhaps results from the network maintenance this morning link.

Hi all, quick question. When doing tracert's or Gateway debug, do the following examples that I've underlined relate directly to (specifically identify) particular end-points?

link4-central10.pcl-gw02.plus.net (84.93.249.38) 4.643 ms
link12-central10.pcl-gw02.plus.net (84.93.249.118) 2.449 ms

You should find the rDNS of the latter two is now correct though.

would be two different end points on pcl-bng02?

Oh right, I see what you're asking now
The underlined part of the host names are virtual routers, however I'm not 100% sure on the relationship between that and the endpoints. I /think/ the BNG's might be a 1:1 relationship, but for the E320's it's definitely not (i.e. multiple end points can traverse the same virtual router).

Also having this error  I'm on BNG02; right? If so I need to hop as this gives me disconnections through nearly all evenings.
Btw; I do have Safeguard on if this is causing the inaccurate findings?
