Introduction - New Team Leader - Sam Beresford

Hey everyone,
Just a quick post following on from Jess’s announcement to introduce myself to the forums.
My name is Sam and I have been working for Plusnet for nearly 3 years now.
Most recently I have been team managing in our Business Support Department where I managed a variety of roles including Provisioning, Faults, Customer Service and the Partner Program. I have now moved into the Customer Relations Department as a Team Leader and am really excited to take up the challenge. I look forward to getting more involved with the forums and helping out!
Cheers guys.
Sam

Am I permitted to ask:
Is that Sam or Sam?

Re: Introduction - New Team Leader - Sam Beresford

Hi Sam,
Welcome aboard - I hope you know what you've taken on?
Though we are a friendly helpful bunch around here, we can (and are) at times tough and forthright when we think that things could / ought to be better.  I am sure you will have been briefed on such matters... Especially the names of the "challenging" individuals around here?  Wink
I also hope you have been pointed to the many threads asking for community input on what ought to be Andy's priority items for improvement dating back to his appointment in December 2013.  In spite of what I took to be promises to progress these by previous team leaders, we have not seen any response to those inputs.  I hope that this is on your agenda to progress.  Jess has a list of those threads - I did point her at them when she took over last year.
It would be useful if you could share your vision for CRT with the community.  At times we provide at least as much support for customers around here as do CRT themselves, especially out of hours and during MSO events, of which recently there have been far too many with no explanation of cause, remedial and preventative activity being undertaken.
I am sure that I speak for all around here in saying that we hope you will bring a marked improvement and transparency in communication on the "difficult" issues?
Cheers,
Kevin

@CRT,
Is Sam on vacation?  His last presence on the forum was minutes after this post, some two weeks ago.
If he is not on vacation what does "a good presence" mean?  Daily, weekly, monthly or quarterly?
When might we see Sam back in the forums / responses to PMs please?
Kevin
