have a look here (https://community.plus.net/forum/index.php/topic,112512.msg964919.html#new) I did a lot of g/w jumping earlier and did a speed test on each.

I have noticed that there are slowdowns in the evenings, and that I have had trouble with online gaming (last Wednesday as I only do this once a week) with a lot of lag and sky high latency/packet loss.
Having done a few tests it appears that it is now starting to slow this evening as well. The speed seems to be remaining fairly stable, although the latency is increasing. My usual ping is <20ms it is now >40, jitter is normally 0ms and is now 4-8ms. Whilst not high, there are definate spikes.
I've had a TBB monitor running since this morning, but as I have a static IP if I need to jump to a different gateway, I will have to start a new monitor. Obviously I could pay for a static IP, but I don't see why I should to 'assist' problem solving. I am happy to monitor this issue, but don't see that I should have to pay for the privilege. If PN want to sort me a static IP that would make the monitor work all the time via my router then I can leave it running 24/7.
Also, whilst I know how to get in to my router and soft reboot to gateway hop, I'm sure a vast majority of PN users have no idea how to get into their router, what packet loss is or what problems high latency can bring. They probably just accept slow page load times and lots of buffering as the norm. It is simply not acceptable that users have to manually force the router to a different gateway, and even then this is not a guarantee that it will work.
I appreciate that PN are trying to resolve this issue, but at the end of the day if we are having to do legwork and keep bouncing oursleves around the network, what exactly are we paying for?
Hopefully this can be resolved, along with my other issue, quickly, otherwise I suspect I'll leave PN and go back to my old provider.
Here is my TBB monitor:
<a title="Broadband Ping" href="http://www.thinkbroadband.com/ping/share/85ca75bd26fea48b3ecf7a9d8017c56a.html"><img alt="My Broadband Ping - austinsom" src="http://www.thinkbroadband.com/ping/share-thumb/85ca75bd26fea48b3ecf7a9d8017c56a.png" /></a>
and a pingtest result:
I am currently on gateway pcl-ag01
I am going to try some online gaming (xbox), but will keep a computer open nearby so I can upadte with info if necessary. For some reason pathping and tracert time out - I do wonder if this is due to the TBB monitor?
For some reason the forum pages are really slow and I have had to reload and paste this response about 5 times - not sure if the issues are related but this is also very frustarting!

No drop in speed (running > 95% of profile), pingtest not gone up at all, no drops outs or stalling, TBB graph looks clean.

The TBB graph you linked shows a stable minimum latency circa 40ms. Your recent ping test shows 21ms. Such a big change from a gateway hop is unusual. If you could delete your old TBB monitor and start a new one and post that later I'm sure it would be of interest.
