Re: VAT Increase & Price Changes - January 2011

Isn't that why we have strikethrough? - So you can cross out your mistakes and put in the correct version without looking suspicious?
Still no further comments from Bob, I guess I'll have to write to Ofcom then and maybe even others like Watchdog.

Oooh look what I found....

For Extra
Cost of CC/DC Transaction - ~20p
Cost of 5 mins advisor time - £1
Possibly more time?
that comes out to a min of £1.20. you seem to be saying that PN should only charge what they get charged from the bank, and not the cost of the advisors time calling the customer and processing correct details or just dealing with the issue electronicly?
rough figues i know, but puts the £1.50 into contrast as semi-reasonable.

BT charge £1-80.
Recent court case - you have to pay VAT on your £1-50.  Grin

Should have made it £1.25 + 20% VAT if they were feeling kind  Undecided

Does the £1.50 processing fee for card payments include VAT, if not that should read + 20%

Re: VAT Increase & Price Changes - January 2011

Well, having had no further comments from Bob, we've now downgraded to the extra package at £11.49pm with 60GB peaktime.
£21 v £11.... we save and PN lose. Didn't have to be that way did it pn. Nevermind, this is only temporary, we're now looking seriously to switch away to a faster all in one tv phone and bb package.

Re: VAT Increase & Price Changes - January 2011

Hi christmas,
I have refunded the £1.50 non-direct debit processing charge for the month of February. You have not been charged for any other month incorrectly. The refund would not have happened automatically but would have been actioned sooner but I can't see any ticket from you regarding this.  Apologies for this but the charge was triggered by a change of account type.

Re: VAT Increase & Price Changes - January 2011

Hello,
Ticket? I have to buy a ticket...this is turning into a panto!
Didn't realise I had to 'raise a ticket' whatever that is. As the problem has been ongoing with your customers since January I would have thought Plusnet would have noticed and kept a record. Does it mean if a customer does not notice they've been overcharged in Jan/Feb they will never get the money back?
My bank tells me after Plusnet wrongly took my £1.50 it has been returned.
Thanks.

Re: VAT Increase & Price Changes - January 2011

It's bad enough to get an email and be falsely accused of  'attacking' someone but now I see I've publicly been falsely accused.
THERE WAS NO ATTACK ON ANYONE  IN MY MESSAGE.
Note the username is Christmas, I joked about a ticket and panto. I gave THANKS for the refund.
I joked about a photograph with a very CHEESY smile  :D,  be warned  Cheesy are dangerous and can attack at any moment.  Cheesy
