Forum email notifications not working/delayed

The last forum email notification I received was yesterday at 11:04am for a post made on Monday at 3:10pm. Oops!
This is nothing to do with the ongoing issues with Plusnet email as I use a different email provider (1and1.)

This has happened before and it seemed to be a surge in traffic on Lithiums servers at the time.
Last email I received from the forums was 2 mins ago (this thread being created). It has happened before though and was reported and after 24 hours it was back to normal. But this was resolved by riding it out.
It hasn't affected me yet though. Is anyone else seeing the same issue too?

I've seen delays before but never this long so I thought it worth mentioning.
I haven't received notification of your post above @jaread83 yet.
