To be crystal clear, I have highlighted what I said. Your cache is definitely the issue, you've said as much. The problem is most likely triggered by issues with these forums as mentioned, in conjunction with something related to McAfee. I agree with ejs, there is inadequate evidence to draw the conclusions you have, the evidence does not point to the server, in fact it points to the contrary.
