Keep getting logged out - AGAIN

Its the same for me @rongtw. I have the community saved as an icon on my iPhone and it asks me to log in each time. I wonder if logging in on a mobile device would have an adverse effect on the login cookie on another device (like a PC) and vice versa. I will see if I can test this theory on a few test mobiles in the office.

@jaread83 - I would not have thought so as the cookies are device specific. I can log in using either my Mac or iPad without being prompted to re-authenticate for weeks and weeks on end. It may be worthwhile for the purposes of debugging to have your browser prompt you to accept each cookie from Plusnet, this would give you a chance to compare their names, values and expiry times.

Just had to login again - less than a week since the last time (and no, there was no active session left open to be expired).

Does your IP address ever change, or do you have a static IP (or a connection that never drops)?

I was just about to ask the same question. I had to log in again this weekend, but then I am up at my sisters house at the moment!

IP does change almost daily when the little one turns off the router however this does not normally make me get logged out of the forum.

Also just had to log back in on my phone too.

Do you keep a web browser open for a long time, perhaps even by suspending or sleeping a computer rather than shutting it down? I don't get logged out at the instant my IP address changes, if my IP changes I'll stay logged in until I close Firefox, and then when I open Firefox, I'll need to login again.

Nope! Not on my phone either.
