Two small problems please.
How do I place an image into the body of my message rather than as an attachment?  I have found the 'insert image' button but can't seem to get it to work.
Where do I find the controls for altering the appearance of a signature?

Your signature settings can be found under 'Profile'
To embed an image it needs to be a hyperlink to somewhere it is hosted and not uploaded from your PC

Thanks Adie. I can see the signature detail under 'profile' but no way of altering it (bold, larger etc).
Thanks for the image info. Will give it a go when I've got something to post. Do I understand you right that if I have an image on my desktop or in an email I can't use it?

You need to go to "Forum Profile Information" and then scroll down to edit your signature.
You need to use tags to make size and emboldening changes.

Ah you need to know the BBC tags, mine is done as below. Has to be done manually
[b][color=purple]plusnet[/color][/b] Unlimited - March '09 [b][color=purple]plusnet[/color][/b] Premier Option 1 - August '03 - March '09

Only to attach it to a post, under additional options

Draft your signature in an ordinary post then copy the code in to your signature.
