Post Counts

Not sure if anyone else has noticed this, but I noticed my post count went down by about 500-ish a few weeks ago.
I used to have over 1000, now down to about 700-ish.
Not the end of the world I know, just wondered it if was just me

Well you've definately got over 1000 posts (http://community.plus.net/forum/index.php?action=profile;u=42;sa=showPosts;start=1056), they just aren't all showing up in your post count...

I've just checked mine and I've 'lost' over 800 posts.
I see you are actually just a dozen short of the 5000 posts mark Daniel.

Now it's funny you should say this. I mentioned to Chris this other day that I could swear my post count had dropped. Glad to know I wasn't going crazy! 
At the time of writing this says I've got 3863 whilst this suggests I have 4000 (which looks to be the more accurate of the two).
I've just raised an internal problem (ref:53882) so we can get to the bottom of this.

DoH! I have `lost` 1400 posts. Must be more careful in future.

preferably by the one who lost them, over the Christmas holiday, with mittens on, using an abacus.
