then went back in to read unread, it said only one but clicking all recent unread it gave 9

Any updates on what is happening? Even clicking on "Insert Quote" fails - again.
Can't see anything on the Service Status pages.
Strange again, but selecting Insert Quote here worked but note lsewhere Sad

I had problems sending a PM with multiple errors. Eventually 2 messages were sent Huh
Edit: this post timed out and had to be resubmitted.

I got a "session timed out" when trying to post a message earlier, that along with "logged out" when trying to mark all read, which disappeared when I refreshed.
Both with FF 7.01 in Linux.
