I wish someone would get that 'quote button' sorted out as a top priority.

Of course you can reply to someone using the @ name but it's not clear which post of theirs you are actually replying too ?

If you look at the reply field header icons you should find the quote icon ("). This works for me.

What has happened to the forum can't in any way be called an improvement.

Unless making things more difficult is someone's weird idea of what an improvement is.
