Re: Same old uploading problem of posts to Forum.

If I flip to another tab whilst the first one is still saying it's trying to upload you can actually see that the picture is uploading very quickly, it's just that the page doesn't get confirmation, odd.

Mmmmm that's what I found, and reported above !
At least the "fault" can be replicated by a.n.other

Re: Same old uploading problem of posts to Forum.

Occasional, but frequent hanging on return to the thread after posting with an attachment is something I've noticed for some time. I did wonder if it was a browser (FF on Vista) problem.
Alternatively could it be associated with one server doing the post and another the return to thread but starting to listen for "post complete" after it's already been sent?

Re: Same old uploading problem of posts to Forum.

Just spotted this "new" thread about the same problem that has been raised many times before. I get the same issue periodically, can't guarantee to replicate it, it happens with normal posting, posting with an attachment or editing a post. I've got into the habit of checking the thread in another tab when the "stall" occurs.  (FF-XPSP3). The post has always been successful despite the original tab not returning to the thread.
