As far as I'm aware, it's just for Community.

all evening while using this forum,  again and again, and again  !  Angry

Does this ever happen when using any other website ?  -  NO !

Yep.  We still think it's a  load balancing issue.  We're talking to the vendor of the load balancer to work out why it's not working.
