Slight glitch with Show Unread Posts

Occasionally when I have gone to a post from the Show Unread Posts link and then click on Show unread posts from that page I get this error. Clicking again usually fixes it.

Re: Slight glitch with Show Unread Posts

Looks like Firefox having a funny 5 to me.  I used to get it in earlier versions of Firefox.  Try restarting Firefox and retrying?  Are you running the latest version?

Assuming that, when downloaded and opened, the file displays plain, processed, HTML output - then yes it does look like a problem local to you.
The only other thing I can think of that could result in that kind of thing happening is the server not parsing the PHP.  If that was the case, though, it would be happening a lot more often - to a lot more people - and upon opening the file it would display raw PHP code.

Re: Slight glitch with Show Unread Posts

That error someone happens when something in the file is breaking the header information being sent back, so the browser is unsure how to deal with it.
Is it the same page? or pages at random?
Next time you get it, download it, and send the file over for us to look at?

Re: Slight glitch with Show Unread Posts

Kelly,
Will do - I am trying a new solution at the moment - I have changed the web antivirus settings from buffering scan with full set of databases (1 sec buffering time) to streaming scan with limited set of databases and I will see if that fixes it.

I'll clear to 'resolved' - if it happens again we can resurrect this thread/link to it for history/detail.
