Re: Spurious graphic seen at bottom of forum pages

Hi Dvorak,
I missed your suggestion (thank you) whilst ROL at Kelly's suggestion of right clicking the graphic.  Safari on iPad / iPhone does not appear to have those options.
Thanks,
Kevin

@ Kevin,
That setting is only for Safari on computer. I think Dvorak may have missed that you were referring to the iOS mobile version.
As to clearing Safari's cache on iOS, this can easily be done if the device is jailbroken but if not it's somewhat more cumbersome to achieve. I'll wait to see which I need to say after your reply.

Re: Spurious graphic seen at bottom of forum pages

Hi RPMozley,
Thank you for your offer of help.  No the phone is not jail broken indeed it's not even unlocked.  Orange want far to much dosh to do that!
Presently the version is 5.1.1 - just have not got around to updating it.  I guess (would hope) that...
Settings > Safari > Advanced > Website Data > find PN's community website address and delete the data?  Or does that do something else?
I'd prefer not having to clear the whole of the image cache... There again if pointers are screwed, I do not have much choice. Do I?

Yes, that should do it Kevin. Although if you're using the auto login feature you may have to re-set that again for here.

Well I haven't seen Jaggies image pop up since - except in a thread where he's posted  Grin
