Success.

When posting a message comes up to say success.

Whats the point of the message as a quick look will show if your post appears or not.

Makes sense to get a warning message with details if the post fails.....but can’t see the point of a success message ?

Re: Success.

My take, @gleneagles - if you are replying to a post say 4 above the last - you click on that ones 'Reply' button, copy it in to your reply box, add your comments and hit 'Submit' - it then reopens the forum page on that message, not your reply, so it is a quick way of confirming your reply has posted correctly.

@jab1

Indeed that is exactly why it is there.  The post you are replying to might not even be on the last page of the topic, which is why there is also a "Go to your post" link.
