Re: Superuser Program

Jim,

That looks right to me. Two people thanking, one a SU counts as 2, plus the other equals 3 thanks / likes.

Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.

Looks very wrong to me.

Guess we'll just have to live with this inequality. Roll_eyes

Re: Superuser Program

thanks weight 2 is OK I suppose for boosting a posters rank but Thanks 2 isn't as it has nothing to do with it - or shouldn't

Re: Superuser Program

I'll add to @Townman comment in post #85.

I'm not over enthused about the kudos system and badges either (much more oriented to the American market).  I'd be more comfortable if the additional weighting on 'likes' were extended to other respected ranks in the Kudos system as it could then amplify the response above a simple count of hands.

Let's see how it works in practice and if neccessary suggest changes.

Re: Superuser Program

Gents,

This was extensively discussed on staging during trials. It's the model used on other Lithium implementations, so it simply must be right for us too! The consistent response has been liked by SUs have gravitas! Personally I don't agree that such weighting (if to be applied at all) should be exclusively associated with SUs. Legends, veterans, mods and admins are equally worthy of weighted gifts if kudos - if kudos must be had,

Re: Superuser Program

Plusnet needs to be employing more support staff plain and simple. Over the past few days I have spent more than half an hour on the phone and still have not got through to a support respresentative. I have also tried that the chat and can never get through, As a new customer I find this really not very good and needs to be addressed.

Re: Superuser Program

I suspect like all businesses, Plusnet is in the summer holiday season, but I will ask the question. Support wait times seemed to have got much better but seem to have suddenly taken a nose dive - again.

Not saying it's good here, but it's better than other providers I've tried and the help provided by the reps in this forum is a definite bonus.
