That rumour has been about for ages. And when they've done that the forum will probably shut in 3 months, and everyone will have to use Chat!!!
Look what happened to tickets after they improved it (sorry couldn't resist pinching that one).

Of course - and a bit more seriously - judging by the time we have all been complaining about the time to upload files with nothing being done they have tried a permanent fix - remove the facility bit by bit

Basically due to where the files are saved we had to do a bit of checking to make sure that increasing the allowance wouldn't have knock-on effects. Sorry it took longer than you'd like to fix.
