Hi everyone,
I am all for you having the ability to change the community site to better suit your needs and am quite curious as to the kind of creativity some of you will come up with. Making changes can all be acheived by using Stylus (Firefox) and Stylebot (Chrome) which will allow you to override any CSS used here. There is a lot you can do and the sky is the limits in my opinion.
I want to create this thread here that will have all the themes that some of the community members has come up with (thanks @shutter for making this suggestion). You can make changes to whatever you want and be as creative as you like but please remember that these themes are not managed by Plusnet (with the exception of the high contrast theme I created) so if you have any suggestions or changes that you'd like to see, you will need to message the author or reply to the thread where the theme originated. I can certainly give theme authors some help if needed so please ask if you need any help. Here is a list of themes currently available by our users:
Title: High Contrast theme
Author: @jaread83
Stylus code: http://pastebin.com/jzTBtTwy
Stylebot code: http://pastebin.com/p5QZUjtC
Title: Mook and Shutters theme
Author: @shutter, @Anonymous
Stylus code: http://pastebin.com/uDYdz66R
Stylebot code: http://pastebin.com/DbM2g9Jx
Title: Compact theme
Author: @jaread83
Stylus code: https://pastebin.com/pwYFG1a1
Stylebot code: https://pastebin.com/Ugze9qMk
Tips:
Use a browsers developer inspector to get the items you want to override for your theme. I recomend using Firebug for Firefox or the built in developer tools for Chrome.
For colours, use a colour wheel to get your HEX colours to use as an override. A basic colour wheel can be found here but if you want a collection of colours that work well from a chosen base colour you might find this link for Palleton useful.
In an effort to keep this thread tidy:
If you have a theme that you have created that you would like to share, please create a new thread and send me a private message (or reply here) with the details and I will add it on to the list.
if you need support with a custom theme you will need to speak with the author or discuss it in the thread where the theme originated from.
This thread will be locked for the time being but please shoot me a message if you need help. I am more than happy to help where needed.
If you are not a theme author and simply want to suggest a global change for everyone, please use the community site feedback board and let us know if you think something should be changed. I always listen to feedback and will try my best to accomodate in future releases.
Good luck!

Looks like at least this one ^ needs some work after the June update (see attached).

Now on Firefox 57 64 bit and stylish still works - looks like it was updated to the new standard but only appears to have the option for new theme

Hi all,
Just a heads up...
The Register is reporting that Stylish was taken over last year by SimillarWeb and is now "phoning home with users' web-surfing histories."
https://www.theregister.co.uk/2018/07/05/browsers_pull_stylish_but_invasive_browser_extension/
It has been removed from Mozilla's add ons and Chrome extensions stores.
If Stylish is already installed in Firefox users will have to manually remove it via the addons manager.

Saw this article the other day and have since uninstalled the extension. I didn't have the tracking functionality enabled, but makes concerning reading regardless.
@jaread83, talking of the high contrast theme, don't suppose there's any chance you revisit at some point and fix the pink topic titles etc. that cropped up a while back?
