Re: What happened earlier.....?

Ha ha, @shutter  I did think of you earlier when I saw that, but at the time the forum editor refused to let me post the image, so I was unable to make a sarcastic comment that @Chris had finally fulfilled his promise. LOL Laugh

Re: What happened earlier.....?

The user avatar panel currently isn't showing any duplicated users, but the count of how many users are online is clearly wrong.

50 unique avatars shown, but a count of 44 indicated at the top  Crazy

Re: What happened earlier.....?

Also, the actual users online doesn't tally with 44 or 50 either Undecided

still looks high.PNG

So 42, 44 or 50, with a doubt it at this time of night 309 lurkers!

(I did check via the community home page, after I'd signed out, refreshed the page and one of 'em was mine - which in itself is odd as my login status is hidden Huh)

edit. Same again - sign out - F5 - check and 'Sign in' is clearly there, but

there I am.PNG

here me is! I doubt it, but may check to see if default settings have been applied after someone forgot to put 50p in the meter. If I don't mention it again, assume the settings are as before the outage.

I'm not too sure if something needs fixing again ! Huh

Re: What happened earlier.....?

I'm personally witnessing two issues atm.

1) When I log in to reply, it's taking an unusually long time for the reply window to load fully

2) I tend to log out after I've posted, which directs me to the community home page, this too is taking longer than normal to finish loading.

If I'm already logged in or already logged out they perform normally - it's the logging in and out that seems to be slowing it down...?

Could just be me, but thought I'd mention this too.

Re: What happened earlier.....?

Again I am unable to mark all post a read using the Options button as there are none, and the Board Options in the individual forums doesn't work either for the same reason!

Re: What happened earlier.....?

We're aware of some issues with the community and raised them with Lithium of Friday I announced it here

Not sure what happened with it yet over the weekend as I've just got in.

Re: What happened earlier.....?

It's working perfectly for me, Lithium have stated that they can't replicate the issue and require further information.

@HarryB seems to still be affected,

It corrected itself Friday afternoon, @JonoH , but I noticed the correction had been reversed again this morning when I opened the forums around 0715.

Re: What happened earlier.....?

I wrote on message 35:

Has anything has been changed for the better, since my reply above, even a tiny bit?

It's just that logging in to reply is now loading normally, though the logging out is still a tad slow, but certainly faster than when I posted earlier about it.

If it helps, the sign out URL is:

Re: What happened earlier.....?

Yes @dvorak is as at the time of this reply when starting here : https://community.plus.net/t5/forums/unreadpostspage/tab/message:full. When I click the Options link it does nothing no drop down options appear, and the same happens for the Board Options.

P.S. This is what I see in the status bar when I hover over the "Options" link https://community.plus.net/t5/forums/unreadpostspage/tab/message:full#

Re: What happened earlier.....?

For what it's worth the "Thread Options" works as expected. I'm using Firefox Quantum 65.0.1 on OSX Mojave 10.14.3
