A 'feature' of the new forum I've been annoyed about for some time.

A bug has been identified in the system where in some cases posts are shown up as being new and unread. This was found by Lithium performing tests on a seperate, internal installation of the software so this would affect all Lithium communities and not just ours.

This relates to the other reported issue of new items showing up in the board view when there are no new items. I am hoping that this bug is related to this issue! Moved threads will show up as new, even if you had read the thread prior to it being moved. Not the way I would do it but that's how the system works.

We have been told that the bug has been passed to the software core development team. No ETA has been given yet but fingers crossed they release a fix soon.
