Happens to me too, there doesn't seem to be any particular time frame involved either, just seems to happen at will.

if someone posts moments before you, the system will return an error.  select and copy your opus, refresh the page, paste and re-submit.  there is a time limit between opening the page and responding.  outside that the system will throw up an error.  again, refresh the page and you should be good to go.

This is a revisit of an issue first posted here.
But this time there's been no response from PN.
It also seems more intermittent tjis time - for me, anyway - using FF, IE or Chrome.

Me too, on EVERY post I have made in the past few days.
Pressing the "Post" button again after seeing the error message (so far) has then worked,  
although I have since noticed that one of my postings WAS correctly accepted but later disappeared - and no it wasn't something that a mod would have deleted.

I was getting it on virtually every post for a couple of days - but it's stopped now (for the time being).
Oops it started again [on this very post] - I spoke too soon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

copy the long post ,  come out of the failed post, open up another reply box and paste it, save a lot of retyping

Not necessary as it allowed me to post it even though it implied I couldn't.....if you follow my meaning.
Edit:...and it's still annoying when a list of unread posts suddenly disappears.

They don't seem to recognise there is a problem this time around.....

Edit 2: Clicked 'Unread Posts' and a page and a half list gone missing.

I've also had random problems with 'UNREAD POSTS' recently -
1) Page seems to load, but no unread posts - when there were other topics unread before going in to view a thread moments before.
2) Page hangs and never completes, but recovers by hitting Firefox <Reload current page> button.
Not experiencing any other web browsing issues, just this Forum.
