Windows 7 64 bit, Firefox 7.0.1 and Kaspersky Internet Security 2012 but no formatting script.
Unusually no problems today so far...fingers crossed.

I am having some fun with the messages I am getting today, here is another one,
An Error Has Occurred!
Session verification failed. Please try logging out and back in again, and then try again.
Reassuring to know I am not the only one

Composing time makes no difference  
I have occasionally composed a response offline in a Ubuntu's "gedit" (like Window's "Notepad"), copied the text (to the paste buffer), then gone to the Forum thread, hit "Reply", pasted the text, then hit "Post", all in just a couple of seconds - but it still the timeout error occurs.
I'm guessing that all these problems are related to the session ID code that appears to be coded in many of the Forum page actions.

Well it seems ok for me today. Mind you only posted a couple of messages today

It varies for me. I have gone a whole day with no issues and then I had 1 time-out in the past hour today.

I have posted four times today and they have ALL shown the timeout message.

This thread has reported widespread problems for a week now and we appear no closer to a resolution on these error messages and failed link actions !
Again, I have had an error message with EVERY posting that I have made today, and last night I WAS UNABLE to 'MODIFY' a posting that I had made earlier.
What is the official line on this situation ? and is anyone actually working to fix it ?

and as Jelv reported elsewhere, when the clocks changed, all the read markers on the Service RSS feed reset to unread.
I am having to push the unread forum button every time, it doesnt give me the list automatically
