problem typing in forum

aftyer typing a few sentences the next line disappears and i have to keep scrolling up and down page. as soon as i tpye a leeter the cuurent line disappears. iv tried wordpad and notebook and they r ok so its something wrong with thsi forum page any ideas plz

If you're using IE8, hit the "compatibility view" button to switch it to IE7 rendering.

I had a very similar problem with IE8 when editing a post. It is something to do with Microsoft not following the standards properly

thisoldman, rest assured it was just a joke – hence the winking emoticon. It certainly wasn't a snide remark! No offence was meant and I'm sorry that any has been caused.

I am not seeing a problem at the moment - can you try Firefox and see if it helps
