Re: very odd unread posts - see picture

Reproduced - looks like it might be something to do with the fact that it's a sticky post. Another one for the list tomorrow.

Colin, if you open any sticky, mark unread, then go to Unread posts and All Unread Topics you can reproduce without needing anyone else to post a reply.

Re: very odd unread posts - see picture

at the bottom of the reply is Additional Options, Click that and at the bottom again is a place to browse to your location for the picture which you then post, it comes as thou it was on PM site and not yours

Re: very odd unread posts - see picture

Thanks for your help pierre_pierre - but as you can see from the above I still need to keep the "L-plates" on!
The second image is the one that best illustrates the point I was making.

Re: very odd unread posts - see picture

Was the overflowing at the same time as you saw the html code in the subject of an unread topic as illustrated in the screen dumps Jim and I posted? (I suspect it was scrolled off the screen) If so it is because that is a very long string with no spaces which means it can't word wrap to break the lines - this then means the subject column is too wide and it pushes the other columns out.
Can I suggest you try the http://www.screengrab.org/ extension. That allows you to grab the entire page, not just the visible part - example attached.

Re: very odd unread posts - see picture

jelv - yes the html code was further down on the page of the image I posted.
Thanks for the screengrab link, which I've now installed, and which shows that all is ok when the html code is not displayed.

Re: very odd unread posts - see picture

The problem has re-appeared. Earlier today this post did not create the problem, but after replies it has!

Re: very odd unread posts - see picture

This problem hasn't been fixed yet - any sticky subject that has new replies will display like that.
To fix the display, read the topic!
