Hi @HarrySch, I've raised a task to our Info Ops team to unarchive. This normally takes around 5 working days to complete.

Re: Archived mailbox? Request for it to be unarchived here! (Part 2)

Hi,

Would it be possible, please, to request the un-archiving of my mailbox, the address begins with ste............. .plus.com.

I will then delete some more messages.

Thank you in advance.

Kind regards,

Steve.

Hi @sn5775, I've sent a request for your emails to be unarchived, this will take around 5 - 7 working days for the team to action this.

@sn5775

Did you receive warning emails (sent to your account’s contact email address) over several weeks before the mail was archived that your utilisation was over 75%?

Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.

Hi there, I've just checked your account and there's nothing to show that we've archived your emails, have you received an email about that? - Adam

I'm not able to find an email sent in March, the last one I can find in back in December but those emails are only saved for 30 days and then are deleted.

Was that email in respect of exceeding the 1GB capacity allowance or in respect of not having accessed the mailbox for 90+ days?

An archive action on capacity leaves a footprint in the CRM which @csmith94 would be able to find; an archive action in respect of non-use does not leave anything for staff to find.  That is why users are requested to indicate the reason for the archive - avoiding looking for something staff cannot find saves time for everyone.

All archive emails state that the retention time for archives is 30 days.  4th March + 30 days is now sometime well passed.

Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.

Re: Archived mailbox? Request for it to be unarchived here! (Part 2)

Hello, my email inbox had some large files in it which I deleted using webmail on Sunday night, then removed from the trash folder. However now all my emails have disappeared. I am still getting new ones from Monday onwards.

I do not have POP3 enabled and haven't logged in from a new device, only webmail and my phone.

Can you please re-instate the old emails.

thanks

Moyra

Hi @acrams2404 I've just checked your account and we don't seem to have archived any emails that we could restore for you. Sorry to disappoint.

Adam,

The suspect they were hoping for a restore from a recent back up … which is different to this thread’s purpose - restore from an archive.

Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.

How do I request a restore from recent back-up then?  Thanks.

Hi @acrams2404 I'm going to pop you a private message to get your username and I can certainly look into this for you.
