Sorry, the screenshot was the second image in message 40 for the File Locksmith image.
Since posting last time, a weird thing has happened. The test message button was still giving errors but then a backup job ran and it seems to have bumped started the notifications. I rebooted the PC and even the test messages are working now so maybe the file they sent me had a bearing on things after all.
I'm not all that computer savvy really but I can usually follow instructions and I do a lot of reading to try to sort out a problem, LOL. I learnt a lot from this post that I hadn't known before so thank you for your input @Townman

I did wonder about the file not being loaded. A reboot removes all doubt.
In another browser tab, login into the Plusnet user portal BEFORE clicking the fault & ticket links
Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.

@Annie Pleased to hear it’s all working now.
I forgot to add on a previous post, when you replace the file the original may still be in memory so a reboot would clear it.

Yes the email issue has now resolved itself. I have checked again this morning to make sure.
I still have a few other outstanding issues with the program which are not related to email or Plusnet. EaseUs want me to set up a remote connection with them to help with this.
I have no idea what they changed in the Email.dll file but I think the backup job running bump started it after the replacement file as the emails began filtering through before the PC restart.
I imagine the reason I couldn't send from the PC in question for a while was perhaps too many failed attempts using EaseUs so it temporarily blocked me. I am curious though that it didn't choose to block me using email on my other devices using the same internet connection. Anyway, it's not all that important now.
