Ever since some less than helpful idiot decided it would be aa good idea to add the '.click' domain name, I am now getting a lot of SPAM email from this domain. I can filter this at my end on my PC but it gets through on my phone and is an ongoing nuisance.
I have been extracting the addresses and adding them to the email SPM filter which works well but I have to add each full email address individually when all I really want to do is to add .'click' alone but it doesn't allow this.
In fact my very long blocked addresses list can be reduced to a few lines if I could add ' .click' and '.mx' as nothing _ever_ comes from these two domain suffixes that I ever want to see!
It would be really helpful if the SPAM filter could be improved to allow domain suffixes to be blocked.

@gladman I may be posting a load of waffle here, as I use a third-party spam filter, so have never bothered with any mail program/webmail filters, but can you use wildcards in the filter rules? I know I can.

Thanks for your thoughts. Sadly, however, the Plusnet SPAM filter does not allow wildcards.

Pity - but I did say I might be wrong.😉
How many email addresses do you have?

I have several but, all but one being gmail addresses. The gmail addresses are not a problem and none of this stuff gets through the their SPAM filtering.
It is my Plusnet mail address that is a problem but I have had it since 2003 and it is now suffering because of its 'age' (its ended up on a lot of address lists) and the poor server SPAM filter that Plusnet provides.
But it will take me a lot of work to abandon it, which is why I am asking if there is any prospect of improving the Plusnet filter.

Unconnected to your current problem but you might want to think about starting to change e-mails.
PlusNet no longer offer e-mail only accounts if you change ISP (nor to new customers). Further more, there have been rumours that PN plan to stop e-mail services - only rumours but you never know.

Yes, I agree that this is certainly something to think about.
I have been putting it off because of the amount of work it involves - I have collected an awful lot of accounts over the twenty years and many of them are still active 😞

Likewise, I have far too many logins tied into PlusNet e-mail.
I keep promising myself I'll make a list of them all in case I need to change........

If it is only your single PN address which is causing the issue, I think the program I use (MailWasher) offer a free version which will process a single address - not 100% sure, because I have no need to visit their site - I got a copy of the last 'lifetime licence' version they did - they now use the 1/3/5 year licence model
