@Protech Maybe because no such approx dates have been established? NOTE: I am not defending the Plusnet brand of the BT Consumer Division here - I don't trust the parent organisation any further than I can throw it - but until such decisions are made...

I can assure you, that having been involved in technical project /business planning for many years,
a provisional /target date for Plusnet's full transition a wires only supplier will exist somewhere within BT towers.
It's just that they aren't ready or confident to announce it yet.

I don't doubt someone will possibly know, but like all businesses, it will no doubt still be being 'discussed', and like all businesses, they are not going to release what they may still regard as 'commercially sensitive' information until such time as they decide.

What Nick is addressing is the disinformation being disseminated by the CSAs. Many years ago, Plusnet did explore closing the service entirely but abandoned the idea based on user feedback. The service is no longer available to new accounts and is not retainable on leaving Plusnet.
It would seem that this has left some CSAs confused.

Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.

Closing replies on this thread, as it's just speculation now which isn't helpful for concerned Plusnet customers.
To clarify again - we have not announced any changes at this time. If any changes are made, Plusnet email customers will be the first to know, along with our contact centre teams.
Feedback has now been delivered to contact centre employees providing incorrect info on this.
I'd also like to clarify that Plusnet continues to operate as its own value brand within the BT Group. We have dedicated teams across marketing, product, design and delivery, digital, contact centre and more that work on Plusnet. Most of which are based out of our Plusnet offices in Sheffield and Leeds. Our Plusnet Community superusers were able to meet some of these earlier in the year. So I hope this provides some confidence that Plusnet is very much here to stay.
