Gmail non delivery

Hello community

I am a long time freenetname domain holder (since 1999)

My emails to gmail are being returned not delivered.

I do not have the technical understanding you guys have but would like to

once agian send emails to a gmail address.

How can I fix this, please?

Thank you for your patience.

Re: Gmail non delivery

I see other posts about legacy freenetname and gmail emails.

Any progress or is this the end?

Thanks for your help.

Re: Gmail non delivery

GMail are mandating that email sent from a domain to free (but not paid) gmail accounts must have SPF and/or DKIM authentication. Plusnet have configured SPF for the freenetname.co.uk and DKIM for <account>.plus.com domains, so emails from native domain addresses should be fine.

There is a workaround to add SPF to Plusnet hosted domains BUT this is not possible for legacy Freenetname/Madasafish hosted domains.

Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.

Re: Gmail non delivery

Many thanks for your reply.

Of course I have been using a Gmail account to mail my clients who are Gmail users.

I would be very happy to pay PlusNet to migrate my freenetname domain to PlusNet and enjoy the benefits.

Strange that they have not suggested this or perhaps hosing is no longer an attractive option for them?

On we go in the wonderful digital world!

Yes, hosting is a legacy facility and support is limited.

TBH you're really better moving your domain hosting somewhere else.
