Inbox not tranferring to Deleted folder.

When an email is deleted from the Inbox is does not appear in the Deleted Folder, how can I achieve this ?
This applies to both Plusnet webmail box and also Windows mail.

Thanks a lot for reaching out and I'm sorry to hear that you're having problems with your email service. Can you please log into webmail, head across to Settings > Server Settings, and let me know what you have ticket?

Hello Adam, just one option ticked :- Flag the message for deletion instead of delete.

Hello again Adam.
I did that and glad to say I am OK now.
If I delete an email in windows mail, it remains in the Plusnet inbox. If I then delete it there, it is moved to the Plusnet Deleted items folder and also appears in the windows mail Trash folder.
I can now recover an email deleted by mistake.

Changing settings in the webmail client will not change how the client on a PC works. Most clients provide the options to mark items as deleted or move to trash. Some have options to delete immediately without a safety net.
IIRC before Outlook 2013 it did not move to trash (had no option to do so) and simply marked items for deletion (they went grey) and were deleted on navigating away from the folder or exiting Outlook.
Users now have a great deal of control over what happens … but you need to know that!!
In another browser tab, login into the Plusnet user portal BEFORE clicking the fault & ticket links
Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.
