What is far more likely than the sceptre of censorship is that for one reason or another, the sending service peeked over a suspicion threshold thereby raising their SPAM filter rating.
These are refreshed within 24 hours and could thus today be clean again.

That's possible however I have used the sender for years and this is only the second time it's happened. OTOH, Gmail is blocking it too as spam but at least I get the opportunity to confirm that it isn't spam.
So it IS spammy! Problem is that different providers use different techniques and actions on detecting spam.
