My email only account has stopped sending emails

I have been with Plusnet since the days they were Force9 and based in Worksop, but after leaving them a few years ago I have been using the email only service. But I have just noticed that I cannot send any emails, only receive. 

 

Looking through the community posts I see that Plusnet have stopped supplying email only accounts.

 

Is my issue due to this change? will I not be able to send from Plusnet?

When did you first notice this? If you have a 'free email-only account, it should still work.

Hi Jab1,

 

I first noticed it last month, but I have moved house in December and the office still isn't set up properly, so it could have been any time since December.

I have tried changing the outgoing server settings but as far as I can see they are ok.

This sounds a little strange. Unfortunately, I'm going out now, but I'll tag @Townman  - he's the email expert around here. 😉
