Outlook can't connect to incoming email server

Just started having issues picking up emails on my pc using Outlook 2016. It appears to be an issue with connection encryption type. All seems fine on my android phone.

Anybody else having issues ?

Probably Outlook has got the wrong (official) server names. Plusnet has got official and non-official names for its servers - they both work, but only the official ones are in the certificates. Using the unofficial ones, will give rise to certificate issues being reported.

POP3 should be mail.plus.net not pop3.plus.net

SMTP should be relay.plus.net not smtp.plus.net

In another browser tab, login into the Plusnet user portal BEFORE clicking the fault & ticket links
