Pop3 & SMTP: any plans to enable SSL?

Have Plusnet any plans to enable SSL connections for Pop3 & SMTP? If not, is there a good reason not to?

Why do you think it is not enabled?

POP3 mail.plus.net Port 995 TLS/SSL
SMTP relay.plus.net Port 587 STARTTLS

In another browser tab, login into the Plusnet user portal BEFORE clicking the fault & ticket links

Last time I asked, it was not available and had not been informed (or had not noticed) that is was now possible.

Indeed, some of the configuration information could be a bit clearer!
