Pop3 & SMTP: any plans to enable SSL?

Have Plusnet any plans to enable SSL connections for Pop3 & SMTP?  If not, is there a good reason not to?

TIA

Re: Pop3 & SMTP: any plans to enable SSL?

Fix

Why do you think it is not enabled?

  • POP3 mail.plus.net Port 995 TLS/SSL
  • SMTP relay.plus.net Port 587 STARTTLS

"Why do you think it is not enabled?"

Last time I asked, it was not available and had not been informed (or had not noticed) that is was now possible.

Good news!

Been around a good few years now!!

"had not been informed (or had not noticed)"

Indeed, some of the configuration information could be a bit clearer!
