Has anyone successfully set up email notifications from a Reolink PoE doorbell?
Despite using the standard Force9 settings, the app fails to set up email sending with a 400 error on my Android mobile when testing and a 482 'Incorrect email password or SMTP not enabled' error on my Windows desktop.

Does this help?
How to Set up Email Notifications via Reolink App
I am suspicious of the following...
-
Sender Email: Please enter the corresponding email address according to your email SMTP server. For example, if you choose Gmail as the SMTP server, then the sender's email address is your Gmail address.
With the absence of a request for the username of the SMTP account, I would suspect that product is assuming that the user name for the SMTP server is the Sender's Email address thus if you wanted (for whatever reason) to send from you@gmail.com this is not going to work with Plusnet's SMTP service.
Double check that you can log into the F9 email service using the email address using https://webmail.plus.net
In another browser tab, login into the Plusnet user portal BEFORE clicking the fault & ticket links

Thanks, but I had gone through that with a fine-toothed comb and there was no improvement.
However, Reolink have got back to me overnight having tweaked the firmware and they've fixed the problem. Force9 SMTP now works with Reolink's doorbells. Excellent service from them.
