SMTP relay.plus.net error 535 Too many SMTP auth failures

Hello,

Our email was hacked the end of last week and since then have been unable to send emails with the error 

Too many SMTP auth failures

We did change the account (and therefore email) password as soon as we knew and incoming is still working ok.  Outgoing is also working ok via webmail so it appears that the hacker still has a machine constantly trying to send messages with our old password and jamming our ability to send with it.

We were hoping if it was left for the weekend it would sort itself out but we're now 5 days later and still unable to send.

Is it possible for support to look into this please and somehow block their IP addresses instead of blocking the whole account?

Unfortunately when I click on Private Messages I am told "You do not have sufficient privileges for this resource or its parent to perform this action."

Does the forum mod need to increase my privileges?

I think 5 is the minimum number of posts you need to send PM's.
