Hi all,
As Plusnet's webmail is playing up lately, I need some help from you all.
Please do help me out with which client will allow me to have more than 2 addresses to cope with various emails and in addition it would be very helpful if the client will allow me to set up additional folders to save the important emails (e.g. Quotations, Insurance docs, Big Item purchases, etc.).
I will appreciate it if you can help me to decide on the client to use.
Many regards,
Chandu.

I'd suggest using Thunderbird. It will do all that you've asked for and more! Personally used it for 10 years+
Many others also use it, so plenty of help.

I think chandu is looking for a new Email provider ?
Is Thunderbird an Email provider or just an Email manager.
So if not two new Email accounts would have to be set up Gmail or Hotmail etc. and connected to Thunderbird.
Gmail provide 15GB of storage for free more than enough for most people if you keep your eye on it anyway.
You can have folders to store emails and if you have two separate accounts you can forward important Emails from one account to the other and store on each for safety

@Smith7 Thunderbird is an email client - no need to set up 'new' accounts, just create your current ones in the program. Could be a bit hard for someone like @chandu as it is not automatic these days.
The problem with Gmail (and why it is only an 'emergency' backup for me) is the fact that they monitor it for monetisation opportunities.

@chandu Another vote from me for Thunderbird.
As mentioned above, it'll do everything you require and more, and it's easy to transfer from one PC to another if needed.

Thank you for your prompt responses. Much appreciated.
It appears that Thunderbird is the most recommended by the community.
Thanks to @RobPN , @198kHz , @jab1 , and @MauriceC for your suggestion/s.
Please, tell me if the Thunderbird is the email client produced by the publishers of Firefox? and also if Plusnet has set-up procedure for Thunderbird?
@Smith7 I am looking for email client
Many thanks for your help and regards,
Chandu.

Yes, it was developed in 2004 by Mozilla, who outsourced it in 2012, then brought it back in house in 2017.

There is an article on set up here
https://www.plus.net/help/archive/email/thunderbird-setup/
It's a fairly old article so may not be fully accurate, but if you have any problems there are lots of users on this forum

This is very helpful link, thank you very much. Will keep you guys posted on this platform on how I fare when I decide on which client to use.
It seems that Plusnet do not wish to anything about their webmail facility.
Many regards,
Chandu.
