False hope?
today (10/6) I had an update regarding the fate of my old email address....the good news being that all mailboxes have been restored! To the old account which is now mail only. Unfortunately I didnt try logging in whilst still on the phone but having just tried to login to webmail I find I just get "login failed" as previously. I can login to the old account on the member centre and I notice that altho the email address is shown the username field is blank so not sure how it could possibly work.Whether it's a case of giving it 24hrs (or at least until after midnight which is what happened when the mailboxes were deleted) and it'll miraculously spring back into operation I dont know altho I highly doubt it but either way Im not going to spend however long on the phone again today, I think i'll take a breath and give it a couple of days. 🙁
