Unable to send email on iphone

I have a totalise.co.uk email address and my iPhone as recently stopped sending emails when I am connected to Wi-Fi but then would send when I disconnected from Wi-Fi

As of today my phone has stopped sending emails with wifi of disconnected

Can anyone confirm the correct outbound server settings I should be using as I want to be sure I have the correct server setting entered

Brand: Totalise - encryption supported: No

  • IMAP: mail.totalise.co.uk port: 143
  • POP3: mail.totalise.co.uk port: 110
  • SMTP: mail.totalise.co.uk port: 587

Thanks this confirms the settings I have are correct, but still doesn’t work when I am connected to my home wifi (Virgin Media)

If I disconnect then sending and receiving works, if connected I can only receive emails

Connected to / disconnect from what?

 

When connected to what does it work?  This might be a sending IP reputation issue.

Virgin media Wi-Fi - if my phone is connected to Wi-Fi then email will not send and will receive emails only

If disconnected from the Wifi then will send and receive emails

In that case, there’s nothing wrong with your settings.  The issue is with the IP address allocated by Virgin - it has been abused and black balled.  Check the IP address, turn the router off for an hour, when you turn it on again hopefully you will have a different address.

 

Just to confirm - are you using a VPN service?

No I don’t use a VPN service

I will try the actions suggested and see if that changes the IP address
