Webmail says I have 2452 emails?

Webmail says I have 2452 emails, but only around 30 actually there? What do I need to do to correct this?

Try again. Probably a server time out. In what sequence is the inbox sorted?

Doesn't change if I log out/in, only inbox has anything in it, tried compacting etc. Not sure what the sequencing is you've asked about is?

Thanks, I've tried that now (it was already set to none, but saved it anyway), and nothing has changed.

Just so I'm clear, what I see is "Inbox (2449)" but the inbox itself only seems to have 40 emails within it.

Is that just the first page?

The number next to the inbox folder is the unread count. The number of items (and page navigation) is shown bottom right.
